A Delta Airlines pilot is fighting back via anonymous sources after Towanda Braxton, sister of R&B singer and reality star Tamar Braxton, suggested that he treated Vincent Herbert‘s estranged wife in a demeaning fashion.
A few days ago, Towanda shared a video online where a white male pilot can be seen lecturing Tamar about the need to follow orders from flight attendants.
The pilot told the music star: “Here’s how this works. My flight attendants work for me. They give orders that come from me. So if you get an instruction from a flight attendant. I need to know that you are willing and able to do what you’re told to do. Are you willing and able to do what you’re told to do by a flight attendant? Don’t ask me any questions. Answer yes or no.”
Tamar simply answered yes and sounded like she was about to cry.
Towanda captioned the clip: “@tamarbraxton got ridiculed by a pilot for flying while black on Delta. Wow! I guess being a diamond and double million miler don’t matter… @delta Shame on you… #WhyArePeopleSoMad #flyingwhileblack #smh.”
It has now been revealed that Tamar and her crew were trying to delay the flight because they were thinking about taking another one.
They did so by refusing to take their belongings off the plane, which is a violation of federal laws.
The flight attendants then ordered the singer and her team to sit down, and they refused. Delta and Tamar are said to be in contact and are trying to find common ground.
Tamar is still not talking, preferring to focus on the promotion of her upcoming concerts.
