After winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Kylian Mbappé, who is only 19 years old, flew to Ibiza, Spain for a much-deserved vacation.
While there, he met with Sergio Leonel Agüero, a striker for Manchester City and the Argentine national team.
The talented French soccer player shared a few pictures where he is having fun with his pal.
France’s national team also known as Les Bleus made the country extremely proud with a beautiful and highly entertaining 4-2 victory over Croatia.
Mbappé received about $500,000 for the entire tournament, and he decided to give away to charity.
France’ sports bible, L’Equipe, confirmed the money went to Premiers de Cordee, a charity that “provides sports activities to hospitalized and disabled children.”
Sebastian Ruffin, Premiers de Cordee’s general manager, said this about Mbappé: “We were made aware by the entourage of the player and his family a few days ago. We do not want to come forward, because the bonus would be paid only in case of qualification of the Blues in the quarterfinals, but we are very touched by the approach of Kylian. This is a very personal approach made by the player: We never ask for financial help from our sponsors.”
Mbappé is expected to continue shinning with French club Paris Saint-Germain.
After his change of status in soccer stardom ranking, he opted to pick 7 as his new jersey number, (he previously wore 29), just like his former childhood idol, Portuguese soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
