Alex Lombard, a former schoolmate of Sean Spicer, is making headlines. Spicer worked as press secretary in Donald Trump‘s White House.

Spicer became infamous when he attempted to make the world believe via alternative facts that fewer people turned out for former President Barack Obama‘s inauguration compared to Trump.

On Friday, Spicer was at a Barnes & Noble in Rhode Island for a book signing when Lombard burst in and said that he used the racial slur n*gger while they were students at a Catholic boarding school.

During the confrontation, Lombard said: “Sean, I was a day student at [Portsmouth] Abbey, too, with you.”

He added: “Remember? Remember me, you tried to fight me? Yeah, but you called me a n****r first, Sean.”

Supporters of Spicer’s told Lombard “get out of here,” and he responded by: “I was 14 then. I was a scared kid then, Sean. I’m not scared to fight you now.”

Lombard told local media he graduated from Portsmouth Abbey’s Class of 1990, one year before Spicer.

A book signing for Spicer scheduled in Massachusetts has been canceled “due to the political climate.”

Despite getting fired, Spicer remains very loyal to the 45th U.S. president and some commentators believe that he would not mind rejoining the administration.

Spicer’s memoir, The Briefing: Politics, The Press, and The President, has reignited a lot of old controversies.
