Media mogul Oprah Winfrey has predicted that the stunning actress has a brilliant future that will probably go beyond the entertainment industry.

She is socially conscious and very active politically. The young activist will be awarded the GLSEN Gamechanger Award on October 19 for her work pushing women’s issues.
Yara recently opened up in an interview with Vogue about Zoey, her character on the two hit shows, and she tried to put her in a broader context with what is going on right now around the country.
She explained, “OK, Zoey may be angsty, and she may be rebellious, she may be on her phone a lot, but Kenya and the writers really let you see her be a leader within her family, or excel at her job. All of that was through active conversation. Figuring out, OK, how do we stay true to character and not perpetuate stereotypes about what a woman can or cannot be?”
