Sherri Shepherd has a 13-year-old son named Jeffrey, and he is not wild about black girls because he considers them to be mean and crazy.
Recently, Sherri sat down for an interesting interview with hosts of The Breakfast Club — Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee — where she said that her teenage son goes to a predominately white school.
According to the comedian and former co-host of The View, her son has positive interactions with the white girls who are polite and touch his hair.
The current star of Trial & Error had this to say about Jeffrey’s perception of young black women: “I learn a lot about men from my son. The little Black girls get mean with him. Sometimes they don’t want to speak [and] sometimes they act crazy. And he’s like, ‘Why they act so crazy?’ and I’m like, ‘I don’t know.’ So I keep trying to tell the little girls to be nicer so he can come towards you. But the other girls see him, and they go, ‘Hey, Jeffrey’ and they wanna feel his hair….”
Sherri went on to say: “I am going through this thing; he likes these girls. Because he came in and he said, ‘Mommy, I like white girls.”
The interview caused an uproar because of the way she spoke about the black teens.
How do you think Sherri should handle this delicate matter with her son?
