What shade? Monica Brown is showering Brandy Norwood with love and more love even though Ray J‘s sister is dragging her at every chance she gets.
A few days ago, the Star actress went after Monica by telling the world she wrote the 1997 hit song, “The Boy Is Mine,” and therefore the song is all hers.

Monica performed in Houston, Texas this week and she decided to answer Brady by saying this: “I want to thank my sisters in music; they started the same time I did. How many of all of you love and adore the late, great Aaliyah? She was special. One in a million for sure. And I want all of you to make some noise for the woman — this is the only Grammy I ever won in my whole life. The only time they called a Black girl from the country to the big stage was with this amazing person, Ms. Brandy Norwood.”

The mom of three went on to tell her fans: “See the thing is, if we lift each other up, we can do a whole lot. This is in honor of everyone lifting each other up. I’m going to do this song for my sisters tonight, for the one that’s absent and the one that’s still traveling around the world doing her thing.”

Monica posted a few stunning photos and hinted a big project is coming soon.
